Roger Federer breaks Martina Navratilova's long standing record

World No.3 Roger Federer recovered from two sets down to beat the Croat Marin Cilic 6-7 (4-7) 4-6 6-3 7-6 (11-9) 6-3 in a gruelling encounter.

Roger Federer is now into his 11th Wimbledon semi-final, where he will face Milos Raonic.

Roger Federer now holds the record for  most Grand Slam win (307), one ahead of Martina Navratilova.

" I knew I was in so much trouble. It was a great fun playing Marin Cilic, he is one of the nicest guys on tour, so I feel sorry for him, " Federer said.

" I was able to sustain a high level - my legs were there, my back was there. Mentality this going to give me a hell of a boost."
